Union Cove Question

Ok, I don't know if I am just dumb or what but when I downloaded UC as well as the other save file it says to put the files into my save file. Except I don't have a Save file under Sim 3 in windows explorer. Where am I supposed to save it? Also, am I supposed to save the individual files (4 of them) or the folder in where I am supposed to save them?

Nevermind! Found it. However when I go to install the file the installer says:

"Union Cover.sims3pack requires a software update. please make sure your game has the latest software updates."

I think my game is up to date, but I could be wrong. Does anybody know the specific version required?
