Vamp and Witch Sim have 2 kids both are human. This normal?

Hey everyone I apologize if this is the wrong board to post in but I have a question.

My witch female and male vamp have had two kids now. Both were male and human. I am wondering if this is a glitch or if sims can just have random babies that aren't like their parents...This also happened to me once with a human coloured sim and a green sim and then i randomly got a red skinned baby.

Anywho I may just change them both into what ever I want if their next baby doesn't turn into a vamp or witch.

Since this has to do with Supernatural, should be ok.  I have the same problem, with fairy and witch.  The kids are both human,  but a really odd color.  So I guess the odds are lower to have offspring like their parents.

Do you have Twallan's Story Progression or any other mods that deal with occult percentages in your town?

Every supernatural pairing I've had since SN came out has always given me occult status children except when ghosts or humans were involved.  However there is a setting with some mods where you have to adjust it in order for your Sim's children to also be occult because they would be going beyond the percentile that is set for the town (or something close that)

I completely understand.  I don't know the exact setting but I know it had come up as being an issue shortly after release.
