Dissapeared ring of fire

I placed my acrobat's ring of fire and the ball on the lawn of my sim's house so she could practice.  Later, when I had a gig, the game pulled the ball from my house into the saved setup, but said that the ring of fire was missing.  I checked after the gig, and the ring of fire was missing from my lawn!  Is there a way to get it back?  I googled, but all I found some inconclusive speculation on thesims3 forums.  Help!

I would almost suggest going back to a save prior to the gig and making sure to place them in your inventory.   Is the ring of fire available through buydebug?

AH man, too late! I already saved since I lost the ring of fire.  I just checked and the ring of fire isn't in buydebug, as far as I can tell.

You can't buy things like acrobat or singer and magician objects as I tried to get back my ball and it turned out to be a glitch. I wish you good luck in finding the ring of fire
