We are owned by 4 Labrador Retrievers and a Husky mix along with 3 adult cats.
So, your pets own you?  ???

So, your pets own you?  ??? ??? ???

When the humans are outnumbered like that in a given house it's inevitable — the pets will make all higher functioning decisions: money, food, clothing, etc. wild has personally told me that it's gotten to the point where she sits in a corner nervously and just nods her head when the Husky barks.

C'mon, Simstar. Your gullibility is showing there. ;)

I've never had a dog that didn't own me.

Don't they though!

I work at home on the computer and when my Boxer,Phoebe, thinks I have spent enough time at work she'll come into my workroom and bust my chops until I turn off the computer and pay attention to her.

Tell me they don't run the house.

I have a dog, she doesn't own us, probably because she is thick but oh well.  ;) My other Dog who was put down certainly owned us, mainly the fidget to push you off the sofa, sneak off with some snacks then expect a stroke, older dogs get bossy!  :D

Pam, it was because some people just do not understand the relationship some people have with their dogs.  Ours are literally part of the family, staying in the AC house all the time and only going outside to take care of business.  They ride in the Suburban with us and even go on vacations.  I rarely call in a pet sitter to take care of them because we just don't go without that part of our family.

Oh, I understand that part, wildred, especially since my cats are my family, too.  And I hate to be the big bad Off Topic Meanie, but we should move this to the Babble Thread.  :)

I'm sorry for taking this off topic. I didn't expect so many people to respond.  :(

Thinking of that I was about to ask for something like this, because I was curious about the moderators (and some members, too) and voila: here it is! The question has been answered before I got the opportunity to ask. You guys are quick.

Anyway, maybe this would be the right place to ask: Pam, I've onced googled you and I saw that a Pam Marsden was the director of the movie Dinosaur, back in.... what should it be (?) 2001, or 2002. Living in Europe I don't really have a clue about how many Pam Marsden there should be out there, so I still have to ask: Are you the same person?

I am also wondering because of the growing here, how you moderators here can find the time to answer every topic in time? It must be one timeconsuming job and I personally admire you all in sucessfully fullfilling this. 9 out of 10 my posts or pm's get answered.

I'm very flattered that I've been Googled, but no, I'm not that Pam Marsden.  I used to blog, but since Sims 3 came into my life, I've let it go.  That's my biggest claim to fame.  :)
