My sims portrait is showing up as that of the pet!

My life states dynasty founder (who is pregnant with gen two, might I add!) portrait is showing up as the cat! I got so frustrated I gave the cat up for adoption but still nothing! Help me!

I don't know a specific answer but a suggestion would be moving the founder out and then back in (through edit town), might reset it, or maybe reset the household? or move to a different home?

Have you tried using the mirror to Change Appearance? I've found that will reset the portrait if something's gone weird.

Fixed when game was opened, and my sim gave birth to two wereboos, and one fairyboo. :D

Thank you.  ;D I'm now building a HUGE house, as her husband has earned the household a massive amount (1.5 million from tiberium)
