Is it normal for a Sim who just graduated to wear the graduation robes to work?

An EP (Showtime, I believe) introduced the ability to wear custom outfits to work. I assume that your Sims have the robes in their wardrobe, so are wearing them. If so, go to the Dresser, select "Career" on the left and define an outfit.
