Fireflies

Just curious, are there any fireflies in Riverview or do they only show up in Starlight Shores and Sunset Valley? I haven't seen any fireflies in Riverview yet so was just wondering.

I see fireflies everywhere. I think they're tied to the butterfly spawners, since I see a lot of them at Butterfly Esplanade in Bridgeport.

Fireflies do spawn where butterfly spawners are located.   I've caught all 8 types of fireflies in Riverview in the last 48 hours so I know they're out there.  Remember none will appear before 7 PM and some won't even show up until after midnight.

I haven't seen any so far.  Where do they spawn apart from the Community Garden and Elixir shop?

They are tied to the butterfly spawners. The list is here. Are you after specific spawner locations?

I know that in Moonlight Falls if you use the Collection Helper set to insects, it will usually show only firefly locations between 11pm and 2 am. I'm not sure if it would do the same in Riverview, but it's worth the try.
