Potent Cure Elixer on Imaginary Friend?
« on: March 13, 2013, 10:15:25 PM »
Simple questions:

1.  Can I 'cure' an Imaginary Friend from its occult state through a Potent Cure Elixer?
I know IF is an occult state, but not supernatural per se...

2.  Is it possible for a sim to change supernatural/occult/life states but retaining their levels (like Werewolf/Witch- spell level).

Example, I'm a witch that knows all spells, decide to make myself a vampire. Now if I were to switch back to being a witch, do I start over or have my previous abilities.

3.  Same idea as question 2, only relating to Life Time Rewards (like Immortal for vampire, or Magic Hand for witches)

That's all for now

I have the answer to Number 2:

Yes, once the sim returns to the supernatural state, he will retain his former "level."

Ex: A witch masters spellcasting, becomes a werewolf, then becomes a witch again. They'll still be a master of all the spells.

I already had a hunch about nr 2, and I suspect nr 3 works the same way.

Now the reason I'm asking if I can 'cure' the Imaginary Friend is because I obviously want to turn mine human (and maybe werewolf or witch later). I tried this myself earlier but found out that IF just like Aliens are unable to use exixers on themselves (those that turn you into a different occult), though I still haven't tested out the Potent Cure Elixer..

My idea was I could try and get a sim that has been all occult/life states (with the exception of alien), so I had hoped to start off with and IF since there's no way to turn a regular sim into a IF..

Hope someone knows an answer to this..?

Imaginary Friends can't use Elixirs, any elixirs.   That means the Potent Cure one won't work.  There is no way to cure an IF.

Okay, though only slightly related to my previous questions.

1. What are the odds from offspring between an Alien & IF

2. Is there any chance that the offspring between Alien and/or IF and/or a supernatural are human?

And if an IF is unchangeable as occult, it's safe to assume it's not actually part of the supernaturals and should be considered to have the same options as an Alien.

Sorry if these questions are too specific...
