Own your own daycare!

Did you know that on sims 3 generations you can own your own daycare?  Just go onto the computer and click on jobs and professions.  The option is under professions and you can look after toddlers and children. Then you will eventually get a daycare van.   :D :)

I haven't actually ever tried the Daycare but I have known of it. Have you seen the Guide article for the career?  :)

I've had a day care  sim, its fun, but hard too. (AND DONT FORGET THE ADORABLE TODDLERS~!)  ;D

my sim was a daycare professionalist and a toddler aged up while she was working and another time the stove caught fire while she was cooking and and the toddlers sat and watched and the neighbours came and just screamed to add to the chaos. in no time, the whole kitchen caught fire but finally the firefighter came.

I tried that also and I loved it at first.  My sims husband was an astronaut, so he helped out quite a bit.  Problem, all of a sudden, nobody was bringing their kids anymore.  I know there were still toddlers and youths in the neighborhood, so not quite sure what happened.  I still go back every once in a while, but still no kids.

I like playing with the daycare career, but I absolutely hate the problem child who breaks all my stuff. The toddlers are adorable and fun to take care of.

I love the daycare but it is hard work. My sims husband is top chef so only works on her days off so around to help. But I've got a glitch and nobody picks up their toddlers & the after school kids weren't leaving either. I did resetsim with kids but didn't wrk with toddlers so had to quit job for now.

Enjoy the daycare.
