Daycare

My sim runs a daycare and is at Daycare Specialist level. But the parents of the babies are not collecting them at the end of the day & the older children just hang around & won't go home either.

With the older children I can resetsim & they disappear but the resetsim won't work with the babies. If I quit my job & then start it up again will this sort it out it was fine until the last couple of days. To sort it the first day I went into edit town & went to their houses and it corrected it but don't want to do that everyday plus she's not getting paid cos they're not getting picked up.

How long are you waiting for them to be picked up? Sometimes the parents are a couple of hours late. Also, do they retain their daycare information telling you if they are hungy, dirty etc, or do they revert to being normal toddlers?

Never had this problem, but also make sure that the parents aren't glitching or stuck, or work late at their job. How long have you waited? Are you still able to interact with the toddlers?

Hi it went on all night my sim had no energy left & went to bed it was about 3am. I don't think it's just that the parents are working late. Yeah can still interact with them, they never get tired though lol

The older children were getting tired & went round house looking for a bed to sleep in. Until I resetsim them. But that didn't work with the babies. I tried resetsim on the patents but that didn't work either. If I go to edit town & switch to one of their houses, the babies were back at home.

I might quit her job then start up again after a couple of days & hopefully it will this glitch. Finger crossed.

So I quit her job and a couple of days later started it up again but on the first day it was the same. No one picked up their babies. No pay either. The only way to get them home is to edit town & switch houses.

Any suggestions? I've quit the job again.

I really don't know what to say. My only suggestion is to save the household to a clipboard and delete the town, make a new town, and put the household in the house you want and try again.

I just do resetsim [firstname lastname] on the toddlers left behind. Even if they are homeless, they will disappear form the lot and may reappear the next day. It has always worked for me!

Resetsim doesn't work on the toddlers it worked on the children but toddlers stayed until I went to edit town & switched to their household.

I've quit the job for now. Thanks though
