Hearts to be Healed | Lauren Heal's Story *Graveyard*

Christopher Steel, Sunset Valley's favourite Dynasty spouse. But, there was no dynasty here, not this time. So he spent many of his days by the sea, fishing until his heart was content.
But, because there was no young Dynasty girl to marry, he chose himself. Her name was Bebe Hart and they were a match made in heaven.
However, Bebe's parents weren't as happy. They didn't believe Chris was right for Bebe, because he was poor and without a job. Her parents frequently argued with Bebe and with Chris, especially when they knew that the baby was coming.
Chris and Bebe had only one option. Move away from Sunset Valley, away from her parents. They came to Riverview.
Their dear noooboo was born, a little girl named Lauren. Bebe and Chris had combined their names to become Heal, so their baby was Lauren Heal.
Chris was the best daddy you could have. He loved his little girl and she loved him back.
And, of course, Mummy loved her too.
Lauren's childhood in Riverview was blissful. She couldn't be happier.
But her friendship with her father remained strong
.
She blossomed into a beautiful teenager, who was fond of gardening and cycling.
Her teen years was short and sweet and soon she was a beautiful young adult.
While out in town one day, she encountered a man she'd never seen before. He was from a foreign land; China she thought and his name was Lee. They fell in love quickly.
Bebe was worried about the relationship, though. It seemed too fast. She decided to talk about it with Chris.
Bebe: I just worry about it, Chris. He seems... wrong for her.
Chris: I know what you mean, Bebe. But I have a plan. It'll help her, I know it will. Maybe it'll help us all.
Bebe: What do you mean, Chris? What's the plan?
Chris: It will all become clear in time, my darling. But for now, let's just enjoy this moment.
The next day, Bebe and Chris took a drive into town.
But, just before they managed to reach the bridge, a deer jumped out into the road. Chris swerved to avoid it, but ended up hitting a tree. The deer escaped without being harmed, but Chris and Bebe weren't so lucky.
Lauren was left heart broken. Her dear parents, who had loved her all her life, had been cruelly snatched away from her.
Lee, however, was not very supportive. She wanted to hold off their wedding plans for some time, until she could get her head around her parents' death. He wasn't happy about this.
Lee: What do you mean, Lauren? I can't just call off the wedding! My family are coming all the way from China!
Lauren: What else am I supposed to do? My parents have just died and you expect me to marry and leave my home!
Lee: You're unbelievable. I bet you didn't even care about them that much, you're just doing this because you don't want to marry me!
Lauren: Don't you DARE! I loved my parents with every bone in my body and I thought I loved you! I was wrong!
Lauren packed her suitcase and left the house. Lee followed her and begged for her forgiveness.
Lee: Please, Lauren, don't do this. We can sort it out, we can recover from this!
Lauren: You still don't understand, Lee. We're not right for each other. I'm sorry, but I have to leave.
And with that, Laurent turned and walked away.
She had no idea what awaited her, but it was scary and exciting. She would heal her heart. She would learn to love again.

Bookmarked, without a doubt.
Poor Lauren...losing both parents and a fiancé all at once. Things can only get better from here, though. I look forward to reading more.

Thanks everyone! I wanted to do some 'proper' writing and this seemed like the right way to do it. Chapter 2 is currently in the works!

A great start! I love Riverview and I feel that it is sometimes overlooked. Let's hope Lauren finds new love soon.

Sorry for the lack of updates recently but I just haven't felt like playing Sims at the moment (yes, I really just did type that!) but I promise I'll get playing soon and I'll pen the next chapter

I'm putting this into the graveyard until I find time to do it again. I wasn't really too sure about how the story was going to pan out anyway so I think I'll just leave it for a while.

Snuffles, I'm moving your story to the graveyard as you requested. If you want to resume working on it again at some point, just ask me or one of the other staff members to move it back for you.
