Sim gone invisible, but portrait still there?

I loaded up a game file, and my sim (vampire) has gone invisible. I can still control him but I cannot see him other than plumbob. I've tried resetting him, any suggestions?

Have him change clothes with a dresser.

No problem.  This has happened to me a lot since last fall.  I don't know what patch it was but changing the outfit always works.  Glad it worked for you too!

Another thing that has worked for me with invisible Sims is having them take a shower.

That makes sense since they change clothes after the shower.

I can't really speak for another, but when I have a Sim go that route, it often means a file will go corrupt, maybe even crash.

I had this happen in my dynasty several times with several sims and the file was not corrupted after several weeks.  If it's fixable by changing clothes then I don't think it's a corruption as much as a graphics glitch.
