Figured out how to use custom lot, but how do I get my Sim family to "move in"?

I downloaded a nice custom lot/house.  I figured out how to install it and get it into the game,  but how do I get my Sim family to "live" there?

Have you made sure it is set to "player purchasable"?  Sorry I don't remember the exact wording, but is it under "lot type".

You've probably tried this, but what happens when you go to your phone and choose move? Then select house & find the one you want to move to.

I haven't tried that lol I actually was doing some research and found out that is apparently what I'm supposed to do. I think I may create a whole new family tho as I've already put a lot of time and effort into my current house.... :)
