Reading that makes me realise just how much I already have thanks to complete your set, such a shame these wont be in that too but I understand why.

Thanks for posting this Bri  :D

EA/SimGuruTaterTot updated the details of the Cyber Monday List to include their savings.  I've updated the list in the first post to reflect this.  Some of those look to be very good deals, in the 70%+ price reduction.

Goodness, so many offers! I'll probably get myself one of the venues plus a set. Unfortunately, my most wanted one, the Stonesthrow Greenhouse, is only reduced at 1 in the morning for me. And it's a school night! Oh well. I'm sure I'll find plenty of things to buy  >:D

I edited the Power Hour information into a table, to make it easier to read.

I only want Sunlit Tides at the moment which is on sale at 3PM on Tuesday for me... unfortunately I start work then! :(

I can see I'm going to be investing in some simpoints, Sunlit Tides would be 3am for me, not sure about getting up just for that, but I've had my eye on that Date Night set for ages and that is cheap.

Thanks for updating it Bri and Seabody, gives a much better idea of when and how much.

Instead of removing this post as was planned, I left Bri's listing of the sales intact as they were originally going to be removed. It's clear it's useful to the community for getting deals and Seabody has improved the formatting. Thanks for sharing, Bri!

The first post has been updated with the sale link EA has provided to allow visitors to support our site.

Happy Holidays, everyone!

Just bought Dragon Valley at 60% off, so excited.  I was surprised at $7.99 it came with gold version.

Glad you got a good deal Nutella!

I know I've been able to finish out some of the older sets I need to get (and plan to get on Monday).

These savings work best if you don't own any of the set at all.  However, if you own a good portion of the set, you may want to wait because the Complete Your Set could be cheaper in the long run.

A good example is that on Monday, Indulgent Living will only cost 400 Simpoints.  However, as I already own the Luxe Wears, the Complete Your Set only costs 360 Simpoints.

Of course, be aware the Complete Your Set will not work on the day of sale for a given item, though.

I don't normally buy through Origin as I can only access the French store as I live in France and generally I get a cheaper deal from GAME in the UK but Dragon Valley gold for that money, well I couldn't pass that up, after exchange rates from euros to pounds I got it for less than £7  ;D

Made sure to go via Carl's link as well.

Just wondering, where do the power hour deals appear? Do they pop up in the 'Sale!' category with the other sets that are 60% off today or do they appear somewhere else (e.g as the Daily Deal)?

EDIT: I've found out for myself. They appear as the daily deal.  :)

I hope everybody managed to get some good deals! I ended up with 3 sets: Tutor of Tudors, Final Frontier and India Inspirations, and also repurchased the baby swing that I had had but I forgot the account that I bought it on. I had to stay up a little late in order to get the Indian set but it was totally worth it. All those hair styles and beautiful clothes!  :D

I thought, well that Indian set is beautiful so I got it, then people on the official forum said I can get quite a few compilations along with it for free...now I have several magic sets and extra furniture sets all from buying that India set...I am also happy to have bought the African set, so that World Compilation is now giving me discount as well so it is possible to get Japanese set for cheaper price later...Oh my god. That is such a great deal! I wish I've seen that warning earlier so I'd go for cinema instead of the wedding set, so I can get everything for free...alas. Next time it happens I'll check official forum for guide lol.

Yes so many great sales!  But it is tricky to figure out which sets to buy first to get the rest of the compilations for free.

I just wanted to toss something out that I noticed over the weekend...

If you bought the Le Cinema Plumbob Venue, check out the March 2013 Compilation.  You'll get the rest of that for free.

If you bought the The Lucky Simoleon Casino Venue, you'll get the rest of the Up the Ante Compilation for free as well.

Many of the things on sale were also in the Best of 2012 Compilation.  Make sure to check that one out as well, I had the Stone's Throw Greenhouse and a few premium magic pieces, so I was able to get the rest of that set for only 140 sim points!  That included all the Indian Stuff and the Japanese Grill and Dining.  I was plenty excited about my amazing sales and CYS discounts this weekend!

I saw mention of the magic sets... If you were lucky to pick up More Magic, definitely check out the Enchanted Bundle of Dark Dealings.  If you have all of More Magic you can pick up the rest of the Enchanted Bundle (Lady Ravendancer Goth's Book O' Spells) for only 15 points!

So in short, after all of these great sales this past weekend.  Take the time to go through and check out all of the compilations.  You may stumble upon a great surprise like I did and pick up a few more sets for free (or extremely cheap!)  I'm happy when I can get the most out of my Sim Points :)
