Aging In The Future

Since there are no schools in the future and the tutor action is disabled, what happens when a toddler/child/teen ages up in Oasis Landing?

They just hang around like it's a regular day. I didn't know that tutoring is disabled and I haven't had one to age to the next level in the future, but I suspect we won't be able to choose the new trait. If it's not a challenge file, you'd able to correct that trait with testing cheats.

So even if you were to add a school to the future town, they still would not go to school? Has anyone tested this?

I was able to add a school into Oasis Landing, and my sims kids went to school. I've only played this file for a sim day, so I'm not entirely sure of the results long run, but I think it works. I can play test more later, and see what happens.

It sounds like to me, that EA didn't plan on us playing families in Oasis.

Hmm...that's odd. I was actually able to tutor in the future. I added a school, too, and my Sims' kids aged up just fine.
