help with the gardening skill

I know in the past I've had problems with this skill. Since the addition of seasons I've had trouble with the winter time and my plants going dormant. Also when they made the greenhouse lot you had to moveobjects on to get the plants inside of it. I thought I'd throw in my two cents about what I've noticed. With he greenhouse I've noticed that if you build the whole thing but knock out one wall and put in a fence gate the plants are safe from the weather and you cant plant without using cheats. I also put in small outdoor firepits around the inside about 4 or 5 and keep them on and that keeps the temperature warm. It helps with keeping your Sims comfy without freezing and I've seen that when I plant seeds and they automatically go dormant once the firepit is on they go back to normal.

If you have Seasons, you can use the "Nature Soils Rugs" inside the greenhouse and you can plant anything inside, even fruit trees. You find them under Decor in Buy Mode.
