My Sim keeps getting his butt kicked by Mummies

I got this Sim's Body and Martial Arts skills both at 10, yet a Mummy is still able to defeat me. Is there anything else I need to raise to 10? Logic, maybe?
Fortunately I haven't been cursed (yet).

By body, do you mean athletic skill?  That will help defeat mummies.  There will always be a chance that your Sim will be defeated, though.

Yes, I meant Athletic. My bad, I keep calling it the way it was called back in The Sims 1 & 2. Force of habit, I guess.
So, there's still a chance you can still be defeated. That's very unfortunate. Not one wiki said that it can still happen. Seemed like you were guaranteed to always defeat when you got both at 10.

I have read one of these past days, that (as mentioned) yiu are never conpletly immune to defest from a mummy. However, if you have traits like coward, clumsy or unlucky, these traits will contribute to ibcreasing your chances to lose a fight.

Also; low energy can likewise contribute to losing a fight.
