Architect relationship gain?

When my architectural designer completes a job, she usually seems to gain some relationship points with her client.  How many seems to depend on how well they like her renovations.  However, lately I've also noticed that her relationships with previous clients are actually growing over time, instead of degrading, even though she hasn't contacted them.  Is this intentional, or is it a bug?

It's a bug. There's a similar bug with playing tag; the game acts like the interaction never stopped, so relationship keeps gaining as if they were still doing that action.

It stops once you exit and restart the game.
