Chapter 3 – Kick ‘em While They’re Down!
A routine had been established, and while Kahlee was not happy with her situation, she did have to admit that she was actually enjoying this whole ‘live off the land’ thing. Her morning, which actually started around 5pm, consisted of cooking something to eat…

…then working on the garden.

For the first time since her arrival in the town, the young woman was planning to make a trip to the shop to actually sell something. When she had bought a few seeds to get her garden started, Kahlee remembered that the grocers actually bought fruit, veg and even fish. She planned to sell all the fish she had to get a little bit of cash back, and so she did.

She came out 330 simoleans better off, which wasn’t a great amount of money to most people, but it was a massive amount to her. Part of her wanted to spend it instantly, to buy a decent meal or something, but she knew that she needed to save it to build or buy a house. Her next stop was the pool to use the facilities there…

…then off to her favourite fishing spot. She found another seed on the way, so that was another to add to her collection.

Then she got on with the fishing. This was the part of the day she looked forward to the most.

Eventually she went back to what passed as home, and got some sleep. Her next day was much of the same, get up, eat, tend the garden and then go to the pool to use the bathroom and freshen up. That’s when fate decided she needed an extra kicking.

Burglar: “Only a tent? Oh well… it’s something.”
After she’d showered and relieved herself, Kahlee decided to pop back to her home. Working on the garden had taken a long time, as had the trip to the pool. She was hungry again, so going home to use the fire pit was very much on the cards. What she found when she got there, was utterly devastating.

Kahlee:
(“…where’s my tent?”) “…
where’s my watcher-forsaken tent?! You’ve got to be
kidding me! One of the two things I own and it gets stolen?! I’m going to find whoever did this… and I’m going to
kill them!”
The rant took it out of her, and if it hadn’t been for pure adrenaline, she might well have passed out on the spot. Instead, she cooked one of the fish she’d caught the previous evening, and then went to the library. They had sofas, and at least that was somewhere to sleep.

Kahlee cried herself to sleep that day… ready to just give up.

So...
She doesn't have a tent now. I don't think she can afford one either. I'm going to leave Kahlee's fate up to all of you to decide. The options are simple.
1) Let her deal with life without a tent until she can afford it.
2) Take pity on her and give her one for free (I can work it into the story somehow).
I've played her for an extra day beyond this WITHOUT the tent, and she's getting almost nothing done as sleeping in the library requires a lot longer than sleeping in the tent. So... it's up to you lot.
