Squeeeeeee!!!! Do you mind if I use her in a legacy? Won't be a story on here because I'm much to uncertain right now. Just for my own personal gameplay.

First comes meeting, then comes flirting, after that - proposal and marriage. Yeah, I'm not sure do you even allow her to marry, but at least Akoni seems interested.

I think the "standard" rules say no, so I'll probably go with that until she gets a house.

She just had an... interesting development though...

I also just found out something entirely by accident! She had a wish to  use the conversion ritual on a salamander, so I told her to do it. She put it down on the floor... in a random fishbowl... and failed the spell. I was able to use "scoop out" to collect the fish AND sell the fishbowl for 80 simoleans. So... free fish bowl and free 80 simoleans.

I won't be doing that again...

Chapter 3 – Kick ‘em While They’re Down!

A routine had been established, and while Kahlee was not happy with her situation, she did have to admit that she was actually enjoying this whole ‘live off the land’ thing. Her morning, which actually started around 5pm, consisted of cooking something to eat…

…then working on the garden.

For the first time since her arrival in the town, the young woman was planning to make a trip to the shop to actually sell something. When she had bought a few seeds to get her garden started, Kahlee remembered that the grocers actually bought fruit, veg and even fish. She planned to sell all the fish she had to get a little bit of cash back, and so she did.

She came out 330 simoleans better off, which wasn’t a great amount of money to most people, but it was a massive amount to her. Part of her wanted to spend it instantly, to buy a decent meal or something, but she knew that she needed to save it to build or buy a house. Her next stop was the pool to use the facilities there…

…then off to her favourite fishing spot. She found another seed on the way, so that was another to add to her collection.

Then she got on with the fishing. This was the part of the day she looked forward to the most.

Eventually she went back to what passed as home, and got some sleep. Her next day was much of the same, get up, eat, tend the garden and then go to the pool to use the bathroom and freshen up. That’s when fate decided she needed an extra kicking.

Burglar: “Only a tent? Oh well… it’s something.”

After she’d showered and relieved herself, Kahlee decided to pop back to her home. Working on the garden had taken a long time, as had the trip to the pool. She was hungry again, so going home to use the fire pit was very much on the cards. What she found when she got there, was utterly devastating.

Kahlee: (“…where’s my tent?”) “…where’s my watcher-forsaken tent?! You’ve got to be kidding me! One of the two things I own and it gets stolen?! I’m going to find whoever did this… and I’m going to kill them!”

The rant took it out of her, and if it hadn’t been for pure adrenaline, she might well have passed out on the spot. Instead, she cooked one of the fish she’d caught the previous evening, and then went to the library. They had sofas, and at least that was somewhere to sleep.

Kahlee cried herself to sleep that day… ready to just give up.
**********
So...

She doesn't have a tent now. I don't think she can afford one either. I'm going to leave Kahlee's fate up to all of you to decide. The options are simple.

1) Let her deal with life without a tent until she can afford it.
2) Take pity on her and give her one for free (I can work it into the story somehow).

I've played her for an extra day beyond this WITHOUT the tent, and she's getting almost nothing done as sleeping in the library requires a lot longer than sleeping in the tent. So... it's up to you lot. :)

I would prefer no. 2. The sofas will not give her the rested moodlet. So, I will like her to receive the tent as free gift.

How about option 3: give her a tent but use familyfunds to deduct 50% of what she has...so technically she would have paid for the tent! The reason I don't choose option 1 is that I want the story to continue and if its taking that long we're basically gonna get update after update of her sleeping on a couch lol...and option 2 is just too "easy" for her!

I like Mags's idea of an option three, but I'll be cruel and say option 1 for now.

Next time, put the tent in your pocket, Kahlee! (BTW, I really like her name...)

I'd go with what Mags said. Or maybe we can just have her hunt down the thief and beat up the thief. That way we can imagine that she just got her tent back from the thief (or at least some money to buy a new one.)

Coz I want JUSTICE!

I think the tent costs 350... and I know it was under buydebug. I'll boot the game up in a minute.

Funny thing is, the burglar got stuck on the island... and because I use Nraas errortrap and master controller, it logged the error and reset her. So I know her name. ;)

EDIT: I was wrong! It was 220 for a new tent! (Sims Scouts Classic Camper) So she can actually afford it.
