Sims 3 Store

So I was on twitter and somebody asked what will happen when the sims 3 store (the one with simpoints) closes... I think as long as you have your stuff downloaded... Its okay, I just want some reassurance!

It'll probably be awhile before you have to worry about the store closing but when it does as long as you have the items downloaded and saved your always have it.
I keep a backup of all my stuff on an external drive so that anytime I want to do a fresh install or switch computers I don't have to download everything again. I just get it from my backup drive and install it.

I don't see that store closing for a long time.  People will continue to play Sims 3 long after Sims 4 is out and they won't want to miss out on extra income from that.

I think -- think -- EA closes down websites when they hit about one percent usage -- so there's a little while to go yet. ;)
