Can you make custom rooms for sims to pay to live in like the premade ones?

You mean like the little VIP huts?

Yeah. I think you basically make the room, stick a door on it, click the door and you should be able to set it as VIP. Been a while since I've done that though, so I'm not 100% sure that's correct.
