Write love email?

My writer sim can only seem to write a love email to one person, whom she does not have any romantic feelings for - she does have romantic feelings for one sim but can't write it to her. Any rhyme or reason here? Something I'm missing?

If anyone else comes across this issue I believe the problem is you can't send love letters to teens, which seems awfully silly to me...but w/e

Issue solved when I turned her into an adult (and aged the people I wanted to send love letters to)
