I'm curious. What is the reason for expediting their deaths? Are you just playing around and experimenting with the game functions, or does it serve a purpose for your sims?

Easier spousal attainment and occupancy issues. Though my query is really just using the wording of the stated restriction as a loop hole, and if it reflects poorly on the spirit of the challenge, I can do without. Darn pools made it just so easy though.  :P

Any kind of intentional killing goes against the spirit of the challenge in my opinion. Let's see what the team has to say.
Agreed.

So I understand that the five parties each heir has to get gold on have to be five different ones, but would everyone be allowed to throw a dinner, birthday, wedding, house, and black & white for example?

Yes as there are only a limited amount of different parties, it is allowed to have overlap between the generations.
So 1st generation heir and 2nd generation heir can both count a gold medal birthday party. But 1st generation heir cannot count 2 gold medal birthday parties.

Master Chef Aspiration reward. Or you can do it last.

Oh yes, it completely slipped off my mind that my founder will still be alive and kicking towards the end of the challenge because she eats ambrosia. Thanks!

or you can store it as putrid green meal.

Dude (babe in your case), that's just sick. My founder has the neat trait, I think that she will go crazy with that putrid smell. Lol.

I need the assistance of Metro and the challenge team.
When I threw my founders wedding party the counter got bugged and stayed at 8 minutes to the end despite those 8 minutes having passed a long, long time ago. I did get a gold after the counter stopped counting down.

Can I still use the gold I got with the bugged counter or do I need to get another gold medal to replace it?
And in case it happens in the future are those parties still valid?

Do you have a save prior to the wedding party?

I checked and no, no saves from before the wedding party unfortunately, I really need to get back to save as again it seems.

The team decided that you can keep the gold medal credit.  :)

No.  Please save your game prior to throwing the party, and if the counter bugs out again, you have permission to go back to the save right before you throw the party and redo the event.

Ok, thank you for the answer.
I'll go back to a previous save if it happens again.
The wedding unlike the other parties is a one time event so I just wanted to check.

Are we allowed to use a whim that comes from emotions labeled "very" sad, "very" tense or are they all considered the same as "tense, sad, etc"?

Whims from "very" sad and sad will be considered the same emotion.

For those of you who are planning for a Dynasty, I have a question.  How did you find it most helpful to start?  I tried doing so last night as a break from NaNo.  But I'm finding myself at a loss for planning the skills, for some reason and then matching them up with Aspirations/Careers.  Any tips from any planners?
