What? The team will be unveiling a new type of multi-generational challenge?
Or am I misreading Francesca's post?

Hi Challenge Team... I should have popped back to read this thread a little earlier.

First of all let me say I can not even imagine the hours, energy, commitment and time spent on in-team communication you all must spend... of your own time, to create these challenges let alone maintain them. For all of that I am extremely grateful. So let me say a gigantic THANK YOU to each of you. You guys rock.

Second, thank you for acknowledging that you followed the TS3 format at first as I have felt for a long time that this was not a good fit for TS4. Even though I hate change (sorry...personality flaw, gotta live with it though) I do appreciate you having a good long look not only at the ID but also, it sounds, at some new and exciting challenges yet to be revealed.

Hopefully the stress has abated for you now as sometimes it is difficult to express an opinion on-line without it sounding like a harsh criticism. That was never my intention. It would be a sad day to lose any of you from this team as you have all been contributing for so long now and it would be a huge loss to our forum.

Looking forward to seeing what new challenges you have all come up with! They're bound to be fantastic.  :)

Thank you, Playalot. I want to see more of you in 2017. You kicked everyone's butt in January this year, so we all know you have the goods. ;)

I'm new to this forum and am trying out this challenge. I failed my first attempt because my founder was at the end of her life and wasn't going to max her career nor have all of the ingredients for ambrosia. So I'm on my second try. What are the biggest challenges people have faced that I should plan for in the beginning? And thanks to the creators of this challenge and all the work you have put into it to make a fun new way (to me) to play the Sims!

Is there a reason that baked items are grouped with cooked dishes as museum items? I was wondering since books (writing skill) and comedy books are separate categories. Also, paintings are separate from Mathematical diagrams because they are based on different skills. Similarly, cooking and baking are different skills and each of them count toward the 3 maxed skills goal.

No specific reason, just didn't think about it when we first classify them.  Is it better if we separate all 3 meals into 3 different categories?

I think baking should certainly be separate. I'm not sure about Gourmet Cooking. It is a different skill, but is linked to cooking in that you can't start the skill without having Level 5 Cooking. That one is more iffy to me.
