World Adventures edit town mode question

This is first time I have tried this.  I edited my base camp lot in Egypt and I want to save a copy.  Is there a way to do that?  The enablelotlocking edit doesn't do anything for this.     Does anyone know if there is a way to save a copy of my base camp if I want to place it in another game?  I can understand that it may be an issue because you cannot evict yourself from basecamp to save a copy.  Just wondered if anyone knows a way around that.  Thanks.

Ok, I figured out how.  I have to travel somewhere else and then in town edit I can save a copy by selecting to edit Egypt while I am in China for instance.  This looks like the only way.
