It's not what you think (I have late night installed and they were vampires) I mean it said that 'the pregnant sim gets paid time off'

Yes, that is what happens by default. It's called Paternity leave. To turn that off, you need NRAAS Story Progression/General/Options - Pregnancy/Paternity Leave - False.
