Can't find the food trucks

I have looked all over Bridgeport and I can't find the food trucks.  Does anyone know the locations where they park?  And is it possible to put down additional parking spaces?

Yeah, one is always parked next to the main park. I'll try and post a screenshot in a sec. I'm about to play anyway...

There is a parking spot next to the building my sims live in, and the food truck shows up frequently, although I don't know its exact schedule.  

I couldn't find the parking spots in the buy/build menus, so I assume it's one of those things that requires a cheat code.

That shot is 8 AM on a Sunday, but I do see the food truck at Bridgeport Acres all the time.

Oh I see! Are they only in Bridgeport then? I haven't been playing Bridgeport, so I guess that's why I haven't noticed before now. Cool addition.

There is a mod, however, I read somewhere that there is a way to get the truck without the mod. Your sim has to track one down and once its on a lot, go into Edit Town and save that lot while the food truck is there. This will make the food truck stationary and once you plop the lot back down into your town you're set to go. These instructions are great for those still playing in SV, RV, and BB.

Thanks, guys.  I finally found a food truck for my vampire sim and he ate a new food (at least in my knowledge) - plasma fruit chowder.  Wish I could find a recipe for that!

Plasma Fruit Chowder? Sounds yummy. I wish I had LN, Bridgeport reminds me a lot of San Fransisco. (Which I go to a lot, as I like 40 minutes away.)
