Help - slow travel times - Any tips?

I am doctor and own bakery. Each day it takes at least five minutes to go to and from either job. Thanks for any tips.

That sounds very wrong.

It's try repairing your game, clearing your caches and you could do an experiment by making a brand new game with a doctor sim.  See how long it takes them to go to work in that fresh game.

Are you using any mods or CC?

I too was having very long load times in a game I was playing recently, where my Sim knew over 100 other Sims.  I found that it helped my travel time a lot if I didn't have the relationship tab open when traveling.  Does your Sim have either a large inventory or lots of relationships?

The other problem is that my laptop's integrated graphics card isn't good enough for the game.  Could this also be an issue for you?
