teleport to hidden lots

During meditation sims can teleport to the hidden lots. Not sure if they must be unlocked first as my sim has already visited both lots the 'normal' way.

I wonder if the options are there before you visit them through the tunnels. Or if you go on vacation if you can go to the hermit's.

Hmmm. I'm meditating and levitating but not given the option to travel. :-(

@tonycdh , maybe it's related to level of skill or needs the hidden lots to have been unlocked first. My sim was level 8 of the wellness skill and wasn't actually levitating when I clicked on him, although I'm pretty sure the options to travel to the hidden lots was there when he was levitating as well. Later that day I used this option and had a loading screen that took my sim directly to the Hidden Grotto.

*edited I have tested this with another new sim who has not unlocked either of the hidden lots and he is unable to teleport to either of them. While I've only tested this with one other sim, it looks fairly clear that the secret lots have to be unlocked in-game the usual way before your sim can teleport there.

I've been to all hidden lots well before spa came out too. Maybe I should go revisit them normally and then try it again. Can't right now though because I have to go to my real job to pay for all these sims packs and addons lol.

That's absolutely awesome! Thank you for getting this out there. This deserves a whole new paragraph. Hope you don't mind if I save some time and just use that image of the menu.

Edit: put it up and gave you credit for the tip, awesome find. This reminds me that I need to sometimes use existing Sims when I work on guides, because had I used my gardener (main Sim) I might have known!

I feel that way about the one with him teleporting out that has a yellow line (background). I will go back and get these improved, but they will work for now to show off what the skill can do. I have to revisit wellness once I get better anyway, because we do not fully understand the need/moodlet freezing mechanics

Yeah, that freezing thing. It's so strange. Once all the timing on his moodlets froze too...next time they still counted down. I can't figure it out at all.

Anyone know the criteria that needs to be met to be able to perform this teleportation?

I didn't get to test but assume you just have to have visited those lots. My Sim didn't have access to these.

I'm assuming you have to visit the lots again even if you did so earlier (before the new pack came out)  Because I've been to all secret lots, just not since I began to "be one with my inner-self" ;-)

Before teleporting to the hidden lots put two meditation stools in your inventory then use the stool at home or one of the spa lots to teleport to one of the hidden lots. Once there click on one of the stools in you inventory and select Place in World. You can now meditate on that stool to teleport to the other hidden lot and place the other stool there.
The stools will stay in the hidden worlds so you can use them to meditate and teleport between to two hidden worlds without having to return home or visit a spa first.
