How do you move multiple objects at once?

Say I have a bunch of objects that i want to move from one side of the room to the other, how do I move it all at once? I know i can build a mini room and move it that way, but I saw in a video (i forgot where), where you can select a rectangular area, where all items in that area can be moved at once. Thanks!

Hi pizza5354, welcome to the forum. The only way I know is to just do it one by one or make a small room and then just move that. Sorry I can't be of more help. Hopefully someone else will come up with a better option for you. :)

Other than what Playalot mentioned the only other thing I can think of is if it's small items you can put on a table, desk or something then select the table you can move the table and everything on it at once.
