My Dynasty family won't leave the house.

Nobody can get in and nobody can get out. I tried sending Sunset to school she just walks to the front door and does the something is in my way foot stomp.
I tried with everyone of them and they are all stuck in the house. I even checked the front door to make sure I hadn't locked it or anything silly like that.

Have you tried quitting and restarting the game?  You're sure there's nothing blocking the door on the other side?  (the magic gnomes in my game like to get in the way of doors and things)

Until someone else comes up with a suggestion (I have no idea what to do, sorry) you could delete the one wall section so it is "technically" an open space. So there is nothing in the way. Or reset all your sims with resetsim (first name) (last name).

I tried restarting that didn't work. So I ended up moving the front door somewhere else and now they will leave. I have just played for about two hours and the game just crashed to desktop. So I am giving it up as a bad job for the night.

I was going to suggest that you replace the front door, but it sounds like moving it worked just as well.  This happened to me with the France vacation home.  When I deleted and replaced the front door, it was fine.

Thanks Pam I did try deleting and replacing the door at first but the door would just not go back in the same spot. I have no idea why but at least now they can leave the house.
I played the Sims four separate times yesterday and each time something went wrong. All that playing time and I have achieved absolutely nothing
