Resort Building and Deleting

Hi everyone:
Sorry if this is the wrong place to post this - new to this Forum.  I built a resort and want to make some changes - delete buildings etc.  I can't seem to delete anything - what I specifically want to delete are the guest rooms and put in more tower rooms.  Anyone know how I can do this?
