The Guitar Star challenge on Late Night

I am now currently in week 28 and still find no success in completing the other 3 star challenges! I managed to complete the piano star challenge but I have no success for the other 3 instruments!

Did anyone here manage to complete at least 2 star challenges without cheating? Is there any other way around for this?

At about week 50, I finally completed the bass star challenge! Now left 2 more to go! They are the guitar and drums star challenge!

You're at week 50 and you're only halfway there. Some Immortal Dynasty players finished in less than 50 weeks, so if your definition of "soon" is sometime before human extinction I'll go along with that.

If I set a goal like that, I wouldn't complete it ever, I'm sure. Fortunately, I don't have Late Night, so that's out for me. @Blanchflower, in my opinion you should've first sticked with Guitar, then Drums, Bass, and Piano. That's why you're having difficulty completing all of them. You should first complete one then pass to the other.

Now you tell me on what instruments I must do first! LOL! Yes, I am having much difficulty in completing the other 2 challenges now. I am now left with guitar and the drums. I did the 3 instruments simultaneously because I thought it would be easier to complete them. But how wrong I was!

Restarting is out of the question! These star challenges are so hard to fulfill! By the way, I have performed more than 3,000 times for the drums and guitar! This is indeed mind boggling! Also, I have earned about $60,000,000 in tips for these 2 instruments each!

I wonder what would happen if I hit the $99,999,999 mark! Will the game go hay-wire? As anyone tried hitting this mark in terms of tips earned?

Lastly, the only so called cheat I used is to bring my family funds back to $1,000 as my Sim hit the $99,999,999. It is legitimate to use this right, considering the circumstances! It just makes my game more interesting!

Well, good news guys! The game still keeps track of the money received from tips when I ht the $99,999,999 mark by playing the drums! For the record, my Sim has now earned about $101,000,000 in tips from playing the drums!

Well, I have finally completed the drum star challenge at week 56 day 1! Now I am only left with the guitar star challenge!

I am so close to my goal now! I think I played about 7 times so far in parties and venues in the guitar star challenge! I will keep my progress posted!

AT last! After week 57 day 6, I completed the guitar star challenge! This is after earning about $137,000,000 in guitar tips and more than 3,000 performances! I am completely exhausted right now! I achieved this after 4 months of playing the Sims in my current save!

Leto was my inspiration in the last couple of days by the way! Granted, I did not play the Sims for a couple of weeks during this 4 month period as I was playing other games. But at long last, I should be proud of myself! Not everyone can achieve this!

I did all this without the use of any cheats EXCEPT the family fund cheat where I had to reset the amount of my funds to $0 to make the game calculate the amount of money earned more accurately! Other than that, no other cheat was used!

My brains are hurting right now to the intense amount of time I put in by playing the Sims!

My next goal is to master every skill in the game, but this time, I believe the experience would be more interesting as one does not need to wait for an opportunity to arise.

Thanks for the encouragement, Leto! But now, I am facing a different kind of problem. I created a band with my Sim, but he is not getting any gigs! Moreover, the elevators in the commercial lots keep getting stuk and my Sim can't get to the required floor. The elevators in the residential lots is working though.

How do I correct these problems? I really want to continue this game by completing the 15 band gigs required but if the elevators are not working, how do I complete those gigs? Also I am not getting them as well!

I tried the "buydebug" and "RestrictBuildBuyInBuildings off" cheats (By the way I don't consider them as cheats as I am using them for a legitimate purpose!) and tried to delete the elevator. But when I placed a new elevator, I could not place it in the same position!

Anyone else having this problem if they play the game too long in terms of Sim weeks? My major concern now is that my Sim would not get any gigs forever! How to solve this issue?
