Meteor Strike on park, does my sims have to clean it or?

A Meteor shower struck my festival park, and one of my sims was there, I was wondering do I have to manually clean the lot and replace the broken objects or does the game itself "resets" the lot?

Your sim should clean it up, the meteors sell for quite a few simoleons usually. The actual lot might reset with the new season as the new seasons festival spawns in but generally anything destroyed by a meteor stays destroyed.

And the big old hole stays there until you edit the lot. The hole bothers me the most.
