Where to buy Sims 3 online?

Hello!

May i ask where i can buy the Sims 3 and its expansions online? I want to buy the Original as a gift for a friend and the expansions for myself so is it ok to ask where i can buy them online with no problems?

Btw i live in the Philippines so i used to buy in Singapore but i'm too lazy to go there hehehe

Mine automatically switches to UK so I don't know if yours will be the same as mine or switch to match where you live. I also don't think you can legally buy the Sims 3 as a Download from anyother sites apart from EA.

But i'm not looking to download rather to buy a DVD copy, I've looked around Amazon and found some DVD's for sale but are they reliable is what i'm concerned.

Amazon is definitely your most reliable bet, and they can be trusted. If you don't receive it or it's not up to standard they have a good returns system. I buy all mine from Amazon, actually I've bought most of my christmas shopping from Amazon!

You can download from amazon as well though I like the EA store the best They have stealer prices. Games like mirrors edge is only $5

You can buy a hard copy DVD from the EA site.  It's not just for download.  When you make the purchase, it should give you the option of which you want.  But other than EA, I would suggest Amazon.com.

If you're talking about Amazon, it will specify if it's new or used.  If it's the EA store, it's always new.  They are running sales right now for bundles.

Thanks for the link. I like EA store' bundle sale but rather than $30 it sums up to $43 if i convert Singaporean to American dollar. Still pondering over if i should go through EA or Amazon.

Another Question!

I am about to purchase The Sims 3 and World Adventures bundle deal from the EA Store but it shows in my cart that the availability is "Downloadable". Does it mean it is not available as a DVD copy? or does it just mean there is an option to purchase as a download?

Also will there be extra shipping cost? I've browsed through the Order Information and couldn't find the answer.

I just went and checked out the bundles on the EA store, the bundles are only available as a download, it is not a hard copy DVD.  I checked out the list of Sims 3 games and you can buy a hard copies, they are just full price.  On my EA store site it shows a green "download" button or a blue "physical" button.  You want to buy the physical for PC.  But if you do decide to go with the downloadable there should not be a shipping charge.  Good luck.

Yeah Although in my opinion downloading is better because its cheaper. unless your gifting it which you are. But hey is gifting a word?
