"Asa: He The Man"Until Christopher's untimely death, Asa was enjoying a relatively stress-free life. Working in the Military, jogging home from work to raise his athletic skill:

Hopping into his new purple auto when he's too tired to jog any further:

Taking a break from sparring while his daughters get acquainted. Look at the expression of disgust on his face as he watches them! Perhaps he's wondering if they're talking about him.

But Asa's comfortable life revs into high gear after Christopher is gone. Now he is the only man in the household. He suddenly takes on the mantle of Dynasty painter, and needs to get his painting skill up. He also needs to be ready to do Malrok's Adult and Elder ice sculptures, and he has a lot of work to do on his sculpting skill. The Military expects him to have a high level of Handiness skill, so he is also in charge of repairing and upgrading. He rarely finds time to relax with his doll house.

He wonders why he has to do the dishes while those women sit around reading.

Asa can't even count on getting a good night's sleep. Late one night, the household is awakened by the loud clanging of the burglar alarm. They rush out only to hear the police officer saying: "Sorry, he got away." Got away? No burglar is going to invade Asa's home and get away with it! Asa tackles the burglar and quickly subdues him while the police officer stands chatting up Asa's wife.

Later that day, a sleep-deprived Asa shares a quiet moment with Malrok.
Asa: Your mother has been behaving very strangely lately.
Malrok: What do you mean?
Asa: You know that cat that suddenly appeared right after your father died? I heard her talking to it the other day.
Malrok: Asa, the poor woman is very lonely since Dad died. Lots of people talk to their cats.
Asa: You know she calls it Chrissie, like your father?
Malrok: So?
Asa: Well .. I heard her say to the cat, "Chrissie, you're just as great a kisser as ever."
Malrok: Asa, I can't believe you were eavesdropping on Mother!
Asa: And another thing. Your father died. We all saw it. But where is he buried? What did she do with his remains?
Malrok: Asa, that's enough! My poor Asa, you've been working much too hard - you're starting to become fanciful. It's not good for you to dwell on things like this. Now, let's see if we can find a way to help you relax.
