Fishing Fail

If I try to fish at a non-icon fishing place (eg under a bridge or at a river), it pops me back to my home lot.  I have the base pack, Ambitions, and my patch is 4.6.6.

Anyone else having this issue?

Have you tried restarting the game to see if it keeps happening?

Yes, and the restart didn't help.

Also, I know I had issues updating from 4.5 to 4.6 (I had to download the "super patch" so the download manager always tells me that I need to update my game) so maybe I have to attempt to update again?

Trying to update again is probably a good idea.  Also, try other save files and see if the same thing happens.  Does it happen if you fish at an icon spot?

Yes, I can fish at the icon locations.  I wanted to fish at a non-icon location because I got a house next to the bridge so I can fish before work!  Oh well.  The fishing fail and wishes that aren't associated with Ambitions (like buying a hot tub) are the only issues I've had with the weird update.  Beside the update being weird.  For now I'll deal until I can make it work, or wait till the newest update comes out   TY Pam!
