Reinstalling the game

When reinstalling the game, is it safe to only uninstall The base game & all the eps through Add or remove programs? :) Also deleting the Documents/Electronic arts folder.(ofcourse backing up the files) Or do you have to do something else?
and later just installing the game normally.

Welcome to the forum, and I uninstall that way without issues. I have some of my EPs on disc and some through Origin so I have no choice!
