Snapping back to same spot when getting close to objects or sims.

My game is doing something weird, when I use the right mouse butten to move closer to objects or sims it either snaps back where it was or sometimes moves to anther room or in the next yard.

Have you tried resetting your computer and starting the game up again?

I don't know how to do that. I can say that my stepdad has fixed it before but after a few days it starts again and he won't show me how he did it.

By Reseting I think Alexandria means switching it off and then turning it back on. If you are playing for extended amounts of time then it is best to refresh your computer after a hour/s. I do every Two if I am playing for a long time.

Ah! Thanks, But I don't think that will help being that it does it when I first cut it on but I will try it.
All of this seems to have started happening when I got my new mouse.

Sometimes, you have to go into the settings and kind of play around with it.  Sounds like a fairly easy fix, the scrolling might be set too fast and all you do is go into control panel and find the icon for your mouse.

Well I go to try everybody's suggestions and guess what the game didn't do it.
Oh! well at least I can play for a few days but I know it will be back.
