Author's Note: Last night I posted how we lost Jonah due to a glitch. Let me disclaim the legacy with this. Last night indeed my game suffered a horrible glitch. Why this happened I do not know. The only thing in my game currently is custom hair and clothes. So I've broken the rules of the legacy to write everything into a story format.

I was too ashamed of taking the easy way out and just posting what happened. I know I am a better writer than that. In reality this family lost two sims to random starvation Jonah and little Keenan. Keenan was Dianne and Ashley's newborn son. So for the sake of the story I bent the rules and entered all three house holds of Wesley, Dianne, and Raquelle. Raquelle is still the heir and from here on out I won't leave that household again. In all honestly I did some fixing and that's as detailed as I can get into it.

However the Millham's demanded this and their story be told so with everything working smoothly now I continue to write. So without further adieu. What happened to them.

Beginning Again: The Next Chapters of our Lives

It had been several years since our beloved founder Nadia had died. Antony and Kairen had become the most popular kids in school. They never tried too they were just friendly to everyone. Raquelle every night sat down to the scrapbook editing pages together of their lives just as she was instructed by her Mother. Wesley and Dianne were off with families of their own.

Jonah however, never was the same though. The relationship between Nadia and Jonah was special. They saw each other through love, marriage, and even death. Only he could see her however he didn't let her miss a moment of the life happening. He loved talking to her. Honestly, he hoped his time was up soon so he could join her. The grandkids were almost teenagers and didn't need an old man puttering around. He missed the old days and his old friends. The decision came to retire was an easy one. All he needed to do was perform one last raid, one last thrill. It was for old times sakes.

Jonah was successful in his raid and disabling the ultimate weapon of superpower evil. However, the criminals were experimenting with something far worse than a big weapon. The criminals had stolen a germ from Landgraab Science labs. Roldofo Cross-Inkbeard was the leader and his goal was one thing...world domination. Roldofo refused to be defeated as Jonah and his band of spies arrested them all; Roldofo let the germ loose into the air.

That night Jonah stopped by Dianne and Ashley's house to chat and hug his new grandbaby Keenan. He was very proud of his kids and his long successful career. The next morning Jonah fixed pancakes for everyone and played with Antony and Kairen before school. Jonah was happy to let his daughter sleep. She was expecting her third child and Ronny's first. Ronny had run out on a fire emergency at the La Mer household. Jonah was happy to help get the kids started for the day.

Jonah smiled waved to the kids, walking out the door, and went to his room to start a cozy fire. After a few moments the fired needed poking and tending to and then it hit. Excruciating pain surged through Jonah's chest and belly. Even though he just ate some of the finest pancakes ever made he was starving hungry. With a cry he screamed collasping to the floor.

Inwardly, Jonah cursed the criminals he knew what had happened. He tried to tell them revenge wasn't the way to live. Happiness existed in love. Jonah remembered the kids his grandkids...hearing the door open he saw Antony and Kairen run in through the waves of gnawing pain eating his belly.

As the chimes of death rang, Jonah tried to rise to save his grandkids this sight. It was too late though. Jonah had lived a full life and the Grim Reaper would have none of it. The begging didn't last long for within a moment Jonah saw his beloved Nadia waiting on him. Jonah was excited to join his love at last. He could always watch the family from afar.

Antony and Kairen ran quick to get their Mom. They only found her cheerily answering the phone. Their Aunt Dianne had called. The plague had spread through out Barnacle Bay. Many of their friends were sick or lost also. That morning Dianne had went to check on little Keenan to find him gone also.

Angrily Dianne and Ashley took their grief out on each other. Their relationship suffered and ended in a huge blowout in front of the theatre. Newly separated from her husband Dianne drove home to Raquelle. The sisters cried drawing comfort and support from each other. Slowly hearts began to mend as a new joy came bringing a new day along with her.

Dawn broke and Ronny arrived home after a long night. The fire department, the law department, and the hospital worked together through the night to rid their town of the awful germ and the criminals. Everyone was saved and eager to just be together again. The mayor declared a holiday and everyone stayed home and close to their loved ones. Ronny hugged all three of his kids happy to know everyone was safe and sound.

Wesley arrived home to collect Rosie and Jerry for a day at the family homestead. They were planning a small family service for Keenan and Jonah. Smiling Rosie hugged her husband and whispered good news in his ear. They were expecting another little one to their family. Crying Wesley cheered excited for the new hope of rebuilding after a night from hades. Rosie and Wesley felt like brand new people. They were the same only more focused on their families now.

Courage and change came out of that night. Antony finally got the nerve to meet and talk to his birth father for the first time and lay his turmoil to rest. Afterwords, he came home smiling and bubbly ready to play catch with Jerry. Quickly Jerry and Antony became the best of friends.

New families moved into town bringing new faces and new life. Kairen blushed each time a little boy's name was mentioned or he called her. They were still young but perhaps one day it could develop into more?

Grief strickend Dianne and Ashley moved back into the family house. They wanted to take their relationship slowly and get to know each other. It felt safe to have a house full of sims again. Also, with so many sims around they'd be forced to talk and get to know each other. As a gift they gave their large house to Wesley and Rosie.

The founders were gone but they'd always be close by. Antony and Kairen found new dreams through it all. Both in their own way wanted to be writers. Kairen wanted to be a journalist. Antony wanted to be an author. Their lifetime wishes were set. They realized this story was about more than just Grandma and Grandpa. This was about Generations of Millhams...generations of life.

Childhood is over?

Dianne and Ashley dated and acted like kids again. Honestly they were sickeningly adorable...when they didn't start fighting. Ronny calls it stress. He laughs it off and blames it because they are young. Around the house however we call him Old man since his birthday to an adult.

One day Dianne came downstairs to ask me if I still had Kairen's old crib. Squealing I jumped over the table. Antony and Kairen just stared at their silly old mother acting like she was a teenager. This was the best news we had since Wesley called saying Rosie had delivered their little one.

Due to all of the tragedies in town no one celebrated for a long time. Ronny quickly called and invited all of Antony and Kairen's friends over for a birthday party. It was so much fun to see the family and our friends again. The kids had a blast playing in our basement swimming pool and on the playground outside.

We adults sat down to a scrumptious buffet to catch up on town news. Kizzy shared the latest with us. Apparently the virus had two effects. One of these was death which our family had so painfully endured. The other was something worse than death. She had seen these creatures we thought only existed in movies.

No one had seen these creatures with supersim speed and strange hunger. Kizzy and Kendall had spotted the first one though. They finally went to go see how our old classmates Ariel and Sandy had fared through the plague. Kizzy never went inside but they could see all through the windows.

Through the windows they saw Ariel and Sandy with their maid. Kizzy said her blood ran cold and chills ran up her spine as she saw how gaunt they looked. Kendall described their smiles as sinister and horrifying. With horror they watched Ariel and Sandy bite their maid's neck. Kizzy shuddered saying, "They were...were...eating her"

Ronny decided there that for the first time ever our gates would remain locked at nights. We always felt it best to keep our place open to friends and visitors. However, we have our children to think of. Wesley and Rosie asked to borrow our fencing catalogue to buy one for themselves. We couldn't trust the world when vampires walked among us.

We lightened the mood asking the kids to come in for some dancing and cake. Kairen and Antony blew out the candles and flashed before our eyes. Antony was so big and strong. His hair had lightened up to remind me of my Mother's. To me Kairen is beautiful. However, she's moaning that she had inherited her birth father's mouth.

Kairen's whining didn't last long when she saw the pained look in Antony's eyes. Antony's skin color had always been a sore spot for him. The pain was made worse when German didn't show again for a big moment in their lives. Ronny was there though 100% cheering his head off as if it was his own flesh and blood.

Years Fly...I forget to document

When eight sims live under one roof one thing happens. A matriarch forgets to document like her mother instructed her. If my Mom were here she'd kill me. She'd also probably laugh and understand. After all we have four adults, two teenagers, two children..under one roof. The house gets messy a lot and there's always a painting or sculpture half begun. Almost everyone loves art and creating it.

Natalyie arrived mending a hole in Ashley and Dianne's hearts. She even inherited Mom's hair color and stark purple eyes. Everyone loves playing with her. Dianne has expressed the wish to have even more children. Unfortunately the house is full for now. Until they find the perfect place to move too they cannot have any more. I really hope they don't wander away too far. Natalyie made the perfect playmate for little Sariah.

Little Sairah rounded out our family perfectly. However soon into her toddler years I noticed something off. After Dianne lent her medical know how we learned that Sairah is slightly insane. We won't know the severity of it until she's older. However, she seems drawn to music.  Sairah has mastered the xylophone in record time. Antony and Kairen are very protective of their little sister. I know they will take care of her always.

With our big family someone is always having a party. In a blink we welcomed Wesley's twins Lily and Fauna into the world. Jerry joined his cousins into the glorious age of teenage-hood. Ashley jokes that we should skip the birthday cake and have pie instead. I wonder where the time went? Then I turn and realized I spent it raising the next generation! It's been an amazing happy job.

I can see my attitudes in Kairen. She acts like a level-headed me. Ronny teases that that isn't possible. Antony loves his writing and painting. He painted a picture for each of the kids for their birthdays. It was so sweet of him. My solemn little boy has a soft spot. Antony also is very protective of the "girls". There are many of them in this family that's for sure!

Fauna whom is the top picture is the oldest of Wesley's twin. She has the most amazing hair of different colors. It's almost as if every texture and color ended on her head struggling to have room. Little Lily is the fair haired child. Wesley is investing in a bat to fight the boys off with. It seems as if we blinked and these two were already children.

Finally in the giant girl slumber party birthday fest, Sairah and Natalyie aged up also. Our babies are now grown up. It's amazing to see that my young adulthood passed in a blink. I will still be very young with my own children are ready to start families of their own. Ronny has been whispering ideas of retiring young and taking me around the world. I'd love to see the world but didn't know how or had time. Maybe with birthdays past it is the time for adventures. Mom always said adulthood was the best age yet and I just begun it.

Wow, you're right. Wesley wins the "best looking kids of the legacy" award, hands down!

Birthday Surprises

Ronny came home with a surprise. In his hand he held two tickets for a weekend trip to Shang Simla! I had always wanted to travel. However, with the kids and plague and everything the timing was never off. Ronny grinned and declared it our honeymoon. The trip was amazing. I went shopping bringing home great souvenirs and goodies home to the kids. Ronny and I spent the night in a cozy tent for two together while we explored a tomb. I have never been happier than to just be with my husband. It didn't hurt that he looks amazing in his martial arts costume. He was the most handsome man sparring with the locals.

Sairah filled me in wearing her little bathing suit. She claimed she was the one who kept the fort in one piece while we were gone. Antony had decided he was getting too pudgy so he lived in the weight room. Fauna spent the night every night and they played and played. It was soo cute to hear her babble excitedly. I forgot momentarily that Sariah wasn't a normal little girl but was insane. She also let me in on another little secret.

Sairah giggled showing me pictures she had stolen from Kairen's room. Apparently while we were away a new family moved into town. Ronny is out driving to "welcome" the new family right now. I know he is trying to check out to make sure this is an good enough boy for his little girl.  We are planning to have him over for dinner soon. All I know is his name is Bryan and Antony says he is an okay guy. I'm not too worried about it. They are young and I'm not letting her go to Eugi's once she turns into a young adult!

After suffering from a severe case of jet lag I realized something. It wasn't the jetlag I was feeling. Looking in the mirror I gave myself the usual pep talk. "Come on Raquelle..what were you thinking? Why did you listen to that man? Oh yeah he looked really good and you were alone. Oh crap what am I going to tell everyone a barely a full adult and expecting another!"  The lesson I learned is Ronny is getting his own room!

Ronny was thrilled at the news. He always wished to have a house full of kids. Since he mainly worked from home now he could help with all of the chores. Especially since our maid was useless. Ronny kissed and hugged me. I never felt so loved. Maybe I will let him stay in the master bedroom with me after all. However, after this I am done having kids!

Dianne was expecting at the same time I was. We spent many days with each other. She was stir crazy on maternity leave. So most days either I was at her place or she came over to play games at mine. Then her due date came. We both called and called but Ashley wouldn't answer his cell phone. Isn't it typical the men are never around when you need them? Anyways we decided to drive ourselves.

However, we didn't get halfway to the hospital when it hit me. My back hurt...and it wasn't my back! Angrily I threw my cellphone after Ronny wasn't answering his cellphone. It was a good thing the hospital put Dianne and I in the same room. I didn't want to go through this alone! Later that evening Ronny ran in covered in soot. In between pains I forgave him. It wasn't his fault there was a fire he had to put out. Ashley was soon to arrive after Ronny came half dressed in a costume for a stake out.

Dianne went home the next day carrying a beautiful baby boy. Which is a good thing because the Millham clan is way to full of girls! She named him Bobby. Ashley busted a few buttons from his shirt. Nataylie was so excited to have a baby brother.

However, the biggest surprise was for Ronny and I. We did not try to have twins. We didn't even try for a baby. It was just one woohoo for kicks. Our little surpise turned into two surprises! Twin girls joined our family Laurlai and Keelai...it's a good thing I built that big house years ago. I just hope the town can hold our big clan and the other families also!

See Raquelle has this talent for having nooboo's when you least expect it. First Antony and Kairen, and not Lauralai and Keelai...if I didn't misspell their names :P Be very veeeeery careful from now on cause you're gonna run out of boys for all those girls to marry! :P

Hi everyone. Unfortunately it is the end of the semester. So my Sims playing must take a backseat to the 5 10 page papers I have due by Monday!! That and I have finals. So for the next couple of weeks there probably won't be any more story written. Feel free to chat here and comment about the story though. :)

Thanks Gerr. I should catch everyone up to where I am. So here is a bit of story.

In the Aftermath

That evening was normal like any other. Antony asked if we could have a family jam session. We often had these at home. They are great bonding experiences between us as a family. We were relieved to see that Sairah actually got dressed to join us. For three weeks she went everywhere in her bathing suit. She's also taken to staring off at objects into space. I believe her condition is worsening.

Later on we suddenly felt the entire ground shake. Crying Lauralai and Keelai screamed from their cribs afraid. Ronny held us close praying our house would stand firm. We were among the lucky ones. After the shaking ceased Ronny ran out putting out many fires and freeing trapped sims. Many were not as fortunate as we were. Kairen and I cooked food to take to families that lost their homes.

One mistake I made was having Kairen deliver food down Black Pearl Lane. I knew her birth father lived down there. Kairen walked down happily helping out her friends and neighbors. She saw German walking down the road. Kairen says she couldn't take it. He was just standing there ignoring cries for help and refusing to free trapped sims from the rubble.

Kairen ran up to German yelling at him. She let out all of her anger, hate, and frustration. She let out all sixteen years worth of tears explode. It ended with them being declared enemies. At home I sat on the bed comforting a sobbing Kairen. I reassured her that looks were the only things that she hand in common with him. It wasn't the outside that mattered but the inside. The inside was a good as gold with both Antony and Kairen.

Kairen is a sweet social butterfly. Antony has become a gentle giant. I often catch him at home taking care of the babies. He alone taught both how to walk and talk. Often he sat patiently with Sariah teaching her how to stay calm and not fly off crazily. Quietly I explained to Kairen that her birth father never would have done that. Their birth father wouldn't have created cute clothes so that no matter what Sariah changed into she always looked good.  Their birth father never coached a friend along because he wanted his muscles to look good.

Sniffling Kairen sat up smiled hugging me, "Thanks Momma. You're the best. Thank you for everything. Can we have a party for the girls? All three of them? It's their birthday and all"

We had a huge family party. All of the extended family came to the party. Even Mom and Dad showed up in their ghostly forms. I am so proud of my oldest two children. Never once did they see their sisters as a threat. We were all just family.

Last picture is in order from left to right: Sariah, Keelai, and Laurlai

I should be writing my paper..I should be studying for finals...but I'm not. How's that for obvious? It's not my fault! These people are far more interesting than figuring out how to document a business's budget using activity based costing.

On a side note the brilliant me just realized something. She forgot to change her aging before playing a legacy. I always play my Sims on long or epic. I just simply age them when I get bored of the current age. All is corrected now! We are on Normal aging now. Which brings us to more birthdays! Okay that wasn't because of the aging. That was because of the sheer amount of people in this family! Someone is aging up each time I play

A Third Generation...Not Ready to Take the Reigns?

"To enter this family you must like cake." That is what Mom used to laugh and say. Come to think of it there never was a time to where I didn't remember leftover cake being in the refrigerator. There's always been leftover cake. So since parties are fun and full of laughter, why am I the Mom of a houseful of rambunctious kids crying into birthday cake.

Wait I remember...my babies are growing up. They are growing up into adults...big..huge..young..adults. What happened to my cooing toddlers? It was us three against the world. We were going to conquerer it together one potty training at a time. My proud heavy heart called in the family for a party.

It was an epic party! Mom would have been proud to see her third generation grown up. Kairen was every bit the beauty she imagined. Antony was strong and handsome. Kairen promptly enrolled into the workforces of the Barnacle Bay Daily.

Quietly I pulled Kairen and Antony aside. Late into the night I explained about their Grandmother and Strangetown. I told them the task ahead of documenting. I also told them how my heart was torn. I didn't know which one of them was to be the heir. Antony smiled and laughed he said it best.

"Mom we might be fully grown, but we aren't ready. You still have three kids behind us to talk about and raise. Sure Kairen has it set. She has Bryce Brentham aging up in several years. She also wants to travel the world and report on things. Now for me? I'm unsure. I've had a change of heart. I like writing yeah but I love the drums and music. If you'll keep me here in this full house. I'd like to pursue that...music that is. I can teach Sariah too. She is fascinated by music. It calms her."

The next day I spent at my easel. I painted a portrait for Kairen and for Antony. Ronny hung both of the portraits in the hallway next to Mom's. It seemed to fit. The two of them hanging there together.
