Does anyone know where to find 1,000,000 in lost treasure for the royal assassination quest?

Hmmm I got the kingdom treasure from the ship at the docks but this was only after other events. (these may be different if doing physician)

Watch the strategic map table
study the map table
then you choose to assassinate or confront the monarch

I chose confront and (spoiler)

Anyway after that I could go to the ship and get treasure.

You have to go to the ship at the docks.  If you click on it you will get an option to retrieve the lost treasure.
