Tales of Woe - The story of Holly Yawhouse


Date: 13 September, 1406.

The priestess walked gracefully through the town. It was a nice town, no doubt about it. But it was doomed. The town would suffer. Everybody would know it. The priestess must go - it is all her fault.

Years of evangelisation had taken a toll. The Priestess had known, but she had not told. It was her fault. It was her fault. It was her fault.

Not much could be said.
It was her fault.
Nobody knew.
It was her fault.
She must go, for...
It was her fault.

She packed her bags and hastily drew herself outside. She spread her arms wide and cried!
"O Watcher! Take me away! I know it is my fault, but I do not want to suffer! In your great wisdom, take me away!"

The skies grew dark. The air grew thin. It was her fault. And as the meteors began to fall, the people chanted.
"Her fault, her fault, it is nought but her fault!"

The priestess dashed away, into the eternal night. It was her fault.


The watcher picked her up in his holy hand and threw her through time, until she landed.
Priestess Holly Yawhouse landed in the 21st century.
It was her fault.

Chapter 1 - New Beginnings

The earth seems fertile enough. The world is dreary though.
I can only hope that it is enough.

The Watcher told me that he had a great plan for me. If I could complete tasks, me and my family would be shoved back to 1406. He told me these tasks. He asked why I looked how I looked. My mouth was agape.

I could not argue against the Watcher's Divine Plan. It was my destiny now. I had to fufil this task. For, as the Watcher told me, the fourth time. Many others tried it. Some have succeeded so far.

Blowing through my yard, was this piece of paper. I picked it up, and saw the writing.

This is incredible! I have heard rumors of these people! Upon entering this land with the thing across the water, I heard rumors... just rumors, that turned to fear. Rumors like:
"Midnight finally came for Carina Dreamweaver. Midnight actually... Dear Watcher! It's the evil priest! IT IS HER FAULT!"
And also
"James Douglas is rumored to be in a place called... AHH! IT'S THE ONE WHO KNEW! IT IS ALL HER FAULT!

I thought these people were insane.
I was wrong.

I need to start work. It is time, oh yes. It is time. Because

All good things will come to he who waits.

Chapter 2 - Holy Watcher, You're Lola Belle

This chapter is the last of the prologue. It is a true chapter.

The Watcher has a divine plan. That we know.
I can be sure of one thing, really.
His plan for me is to complete this dynasty.

My creation into this realm is rather vague.
The Watcher told me that I would change while entering the time period.
He is a silly thing, that Watcher.
I told him that, although he is almighty, he could not change me.
I really am narrow-minded, aren't I?

Of course the watcher can change me.
I know.
Because he did.

Entering this world was tough.
I fell flat on my face.
I cannot blame myself though - The Watcher willed it.

Yes, I would have to make do with this land.
I have a lot to accomplish.
But I must try.

I walked into the village, when I saw that the buildings were huge!
I shall come up with a new name for it later.
I got a job with the physician's house. They told me...
"It's a hospital. Did you escape from the loony bin?"
What is a loony bin?
Is it this place's version of a pit?

On my way out there was a woman.
She was holding off the paparazzi.
"Lola! Lola! What do you think of the allegations that Kai punched Jupiter in the face?"
"Ms. Belle! How are the rumors you are secretly engaged to Buster Round?"

So this woman's name is Lola Belle?
She seems to have lots of Simoles.
I asked her if she wanted to move in with me.
She said yes.
I need to find a mate.

TO DO
1. Do well at the physic--- hospital.
2. Get a mate.
3. Clean the outhouse.

I should not ask Lola to help. After all, she is a gift from the watcher. And

You should never look a gift horse in the mouth.
