Just in case: I hope the 'Show Off... Badges', 'Tie Knot' and 'Salute' options can be passed on to the child of the child.
Does this also counts with other special optiens a simchild can unlock during their life, if any?

Now that you mention this, my Summer and Rosa, both had after school activities. After they finished them they got an award and I got a pop-up saying something like "Summer's great music talent/skill will give her a great start on her future, and it will be passed down to her offspring."
I know it isn't the exact wording but it did say 'passed down to her offspring.' That's for teens by the way, I don't know about ballet/scouting.

I'm almost sure that is different than ballet/scouting, although I hope I'm wrong about that. The thing is that there are rumours here for sims in the music career passing down 'something' to the next generation. What that something is I don't know but I asume it is a headstart in one of the instrumental skills. Probably guitar.
But ballet and especially scouting are two total other things. Perhaps.

Actually, Sims in the Music career pass down the Rocker trait, but that is different.

It's one of the hidden traits, but I don't think it does anything.

Not to go off topic, but Rocker is a hidden trait, not connected to afterschool activities (that being the reason why I mentioned it because it was said it is), it is gained by reaching the heights of the music career. It is said to have the same or more effect as the Virtuoso trait, but it's not officially confirmed. Leto, assuming I'm doing a do-everything-possible-in-game type of legacy, I'll be sure to test it for you. I'll report when my third generation is born.

I realize it's off topic, but I still want to know.  If Rocker is a hidden trait, it has to do something.  If it does absolutely nothing, then nobody would even know about it.  This is the first I've heard of a Rocker trait.  How would it be similar to Virtuoso?  What would be the point?

Well, according to the official description, 'Sims with the Rocker trait will have a natural feeling of the Rock stardom". I also believe it does nothing, other than being quite similar to Virtuoso (i.e. if the children of the Sim in case don't have Virtuoso and have the Rocker, they may still raise the music skills at a faster rate). I cannot confirm, though. Once I had a Sim in Music career, at level 10, but unfortunately both of her children had Virtuoso trait, thus (maybe) hiding Rocker trait's advantages. I'll be sure to test this in my legacy too, assuming the founder has the One Sim Band lifetime wish, and the Music career goes along greatly with it. Until then, I found the trait's Sims Wiki page, it is on the guide too, right at the bottom of the Traits page. Other than that, discussion about it on the official forums, and, of course, on our own. So after, all the research it's the thing needed to unlock the hidden skill of Air Guitar. Hm, interesting if you ask me. ;)

P.S. I believe we should continue the discussion on the page I linked to. Thus we won't be off topic anymore.

Yeah, I certainly missed that one.  Even Carl doesn't know much about it and says some can't confirm it.  Thanks, Chronic.

Since I'm the Forum Manager, I don't think we'll get in much trouble for it.  But I've heard enough and won't keep us off topic any longer.  :)

And I was just about to report you both. Hm, pitty to hear I can not do that anymore. :P

@Seabody; I have found a list on Google explaining things about most hidden traits. I will post you the link when I'm back home. (Sleeping at my sisters place after going out. It's 02:52 am so I'm not going to go back home right now, haha!)

@Seabody;
Did you mean Pam or TheChronicR? I haven't posted here, or even commented on Hidden Traits.
