Problems Installing Base Game and Expansions

Hey

I got the sims 3 a few weeks ago and my computer wouldn't load the disk and install it. Auto run didn't work either. I managed to get it on computer by dl ea manager and dl it from the store there.

I just got generations and the same thing has happened, so looks like I'm going to have to dl that from ea manager as well

Can you give us some more information?  Exactly what happens when you try to install?  We need as much detail as possible to hopefully help you out.

Did any particular pop-up appear when you tried to install the game?

Hi, sorry for putting it in the wrong place.

No pops up appeared when I tried to install, I put the disk I'm and nothing happens at all, I went to the run and typed in what it told me to in the boom if the game didn't auto run and still nothing.

I bought 2 stuff packs yesterday the high tech living one which did install from disk and the outdoor living one which didn't, so i had to download that one of ea manager as well.

It's probably too late for this, but next time, try going into "My Computer" and double-click on the Drive you put the disk in. By Default, I think it's the D Drive. For instance, I have a game in there, and it says: Play (D:).

Yeah I tried that as well  I've no idea why it won't install off the disk, it's not a problem cos I have dl them from ea manager, but it's slightly annoying.
