Master thief question

Hi,
I read in the guide that master thieves can steal? How is that I mean they do a rabbit hole job and then they come back with Items instead of a money? or you'll get the possibility to rob houses like a burglar or what?

There is no challenge or something that require you to steal anything (unless the game has been updated) but if your sim has the Kleptomaniac trait he or she can sneak into buildings to steal things.
As far as I know this has nothing to do with the career, only that your sim now is able to sneak.

I've never really done much with the Criminal career.  But if you have a Kleptomaniac in a rabbit-hole job, every so often they will come home with items they've "liberated" from work.  Maybe it works the same way with a master thief.  Does anyone know?

I believe, yes. My second generation of Dynasty was a Master Thief, and, well, it wasn't any different from the other upper levels when they get items in family inventory by "stealing" them, as well as get caught and are thrown into jail every now and then. However, the other branch of the Criminal career offers a red glow at the top level.

Most of Dynasty Immortals these days don't go outside. So it doesn't really matter.
