Modify the imaginary friend made real

Do you know how to modify the Imaginary friend made real? Someone told me to use (deleted), but I am scared to use it beacuse it's a strong mod. Is there another way?

Actually I can't recommend any mods because it is banned by Forum Rules, sorry.

However, I think there is a non-mod-using solution. If you're patched up to patch 1.22, turn on testing cheats (Ctrl+Shift+C => testingcheatsenabled true), and Shift+Left Click on the IF. You should see a few options, including Edit In Create-A-Sim. Click that. Now (as far as I know) you can modify the IF fully, just like you create a Sim in CAS.

No you can't I tried it as soon as she turned real but the option didn't come up for me. She was a YA. It came up Edit traits for active Sim. Trigger Age transition, and object...

If you add the changed imaginary friend to the household, can't you take him/her to a mirror or dresser and make modifications?  Or then get the CAS option from testingcheats?

Edit in CAS does not work for occult sims - Vampires, Mummies, IF's, Ghosts... even Pregnant Sims. It also does not work for Babies.

Weird. I was still able to Edit in CAS the imaginary friend. This was however when the IF was added to the household and turned into simform however. Perhaps that's the difference.

The cheat didn't work for me either, even with the sim added to the household and made real. But you can at least change their clothes and hair using the dresser and the mirror.

My IF that turned real had the evil and kleptomaniac traits, it's a pity because she turned out to be a gorgeous child. I wonder if her traits can be edited using the testingcheatsenabled ?

Should be able to modify traits with the cheat on. You can't use the CAS cheat on them, but I was able to change the traits.

Yes, I was able to edit their traits too with testingcheats on. Shift-click on the sim and then Change traits for active sim or something. Mine had terrible traits, like evil, rebellious and klepto all together.

Yes. Why do you ask? If you make a IF real they will be added to the household. But keep in mind that this means that this option is not there if you already have 8 sims in your household.
