Negative Moodlet for "no flooring & wall coverings"
« on: July 20, 2011, 11:15:11 AM »
I just remodeled my sims home, made it larger by expanding the walls...didn't add them manually.  Covered everything, walls, floors etc.  But they keep getting the negative moodlet saying that there isn't proper flooring and wall coverings.  Any ideas what I could be missing?

My first thought is that it might be the inside of a gable, if you're using a gable roof - page up all the way, then back down a level at a time, to look for them.

Does it happen in every room, or just certain ones?

No, not every room, it just seems like its where I expanded the walls out.  I did an auto roof, but I'll check on that.  I thought maybe it was the ceiling, but I can't seem to tilt the view enough to see.

Thanks Cathyknits!  I'll look at the roof again.

It also occurs to me that, even though it's not required, it might be helpful to put the zero-simoleon flooring (the first few items under "wood") down under all the roof areas.

Do you play with walls down or cut away?

I do and I've found it's really easy to miss a single section of wall.  That could be your culprit, it's usually mine when something like that happens.

Yes, I play with walls down...and I found the problem!!  There were a few little tiny places that I missed, got everything covered now and all is well!!!

Thanks everybody for your help, even though it was my fault! ::)

I just recently had this happen as well.  I know for a fact that the walls and floors were covered, but I was getting this moodlet anyways.
