Just to update everyone- the new patch 1.25 works. Just after a complete re-install. It does at glitches but you can play the game. However, if you have town life it still causes serious errors.

Hi everyone and Mac users.

I thought I'd update. I waited a week terrified to get pets. The more I read it made me want it more. So I took the plunge and purchased it knowing bad mojo existed graphics wise.

So for me I have a Mac Running 10.7.2 Lion and a Nvidia 320M graphics card. Pets does work for me. I also own an original Macbook Pro (first one released years ago) It's been upgraded to Snow Leopard and has a ATI 1600 graphics card. My sister uses it and she says Pets seems to be working fine for her too.

I hope this helps someone in making their decision. I looked all over the web and couldn't find anything but people saying how it didn't work..nothing if it did.
