How to do the puppet show before the throne

Please help.  I working on the quest foolishness.  I need to perform a puppet show before the throne.  where do I get the puppet, and to perform.

You don't need to get a puppet.  I don't remember just how to initiate the puppet show - whether you click on the monarch, on your own Sim, the throne, or something in your inventory - but it's one of those.  Just try them and see which one brings up the option to do the puppet show.

I would guess and say that you should probably wait for the monarch to occupy the throne and then click on the throne or the monarch for the option to come up.

It is a self-interaction. You should be able to click on your player and the perform puppet show option shows up.
